EARTH DAY

    The climate change, ozone layer depletion, and acid rain are 3 problems in our environment I think most important. I choose those three because all three are talking up the problem about the plant's pollution or the impact that led to the problems. Also, the toxic substances that have an impact on the atmosphere and will be condense, and it creates three problems I have choose. The most important is ozone layer depletion. 

    I think it is important to celebrate Earth Day. Because the humans, animals, and plants are life on the earth needs a good atmosphere, climate seasonal changes, and they want to live a healthy life without being harmful by something from the extraterrestrial. Also, celebrate Earth Day will make people aware of the impact as well as the creation of harmful things that they don not know. I love the colorful life on this earth.

How do you feel about our current project? (Flash mob, viral video) What parts have been easy to complete? What has been difficult for you?
    I feel very great about current project. Also, it help I can watch the flash mob of my classmates country. All the flash mob dance are very well, and have some parts easy to dance for person who don't know dance. The difficult for me are have many parts very hard to dance, I think if dance the parts hard will takes the time of me or everybody to practice.

What purpose do you think we should have in making our own video?
   The purpose make me think we should have in making our own video are in the world have many kind of dancing we don't know. Also, if in making our own video and that everyone will know your country dancing.

What Winter Means in My Family?

Winter Means in My Family

   Hi, winter! Last years, I came to America with my family. That is first times me saw the snow and I know what is the winter. More than two months later, the winter has coming and I do not know its will last how long time. But in winter had some holidays as Christmas, America New Years,Chinese New Years, etc. A few delicious hot meals on the weekend or holidays. My family sat around dinner table and talk, laugh very happy. The heat of the fireplace, the aroma of food so very is warm.

      On Christmas Day last year, the first time I celebrate Christmas at home with family. In Vietnam, I celebrate Christmas with my friends and go out play with them. The Christmas in Vietnam not fun than in America, because in Vietnam only new church celebrate Christmas. In America, all of them celebrate Christmas. On the road and the house is decorated in pine, colored lights, to Christmas welcome. In Christmas night, outside have snow and cold but I still go outside to see the snow. After that a week, New Year of America came. On the road have many cars running from the different state come to visit they family. At far, the sound of fireworks very large it lasted all night and many day. I felt very fun.

   Then a few weeks, to the Chinese New Years. The weather is still cold and snowy. Chinese street many people walk in the cold season. The family diner had many people. At home, me and my father worship the begin of the year for had the warmth. Then, I and my family to visit my aunt and uncle. My cousins here not much. My first winter in the New Year at here. I feel very happy and I had a lot of significance in the first year in America.

      When the holidays in winter was through, I started feel the winter so wonderful. It gives me felt a warm and meaningful.

  From October to the November, I think I not did well what I'm learn in all my classes. Because I speak and hear not well, I feel very difficult when my English very bad. But the teacher don't care my English level. When I learn the teacher have example should I can learn easy. The Algebra so easy I can understand. 

  From mid-month October to the November, I could have done better a little . The Physics I still do not better, but I will effort than the first times. The ELD Reading 2 I can write to more than the first times, but I can't hear and read better the words. The algebra I could have done better than the first period. The Internet I will did better. The ELL Writing 2 I can't write better, because I don't know arrangement of terms. The World History I has a little not good because I don't understand the mean of word. This is all I can have done better than first periods.

  From today November 19th 2015 to 12th grade. I will practice reading, writing, listening and understand of the word better. I will try to maintain such status and better learning ago. I want to study more and more. I will read book, study English online, and watch the cartoon about English. I will can to know more about the words and the meaning. I'm will not afraid about my English level.

THREE REASONS DO NOT USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE

     I have 3 reason why not use Google translate frequently. I'm usually use Google translate to translates words or paragraphs I don't understand. But it not the same means American understand. 
First reason: It's translate not the same means you write.
Second reason: It's will change the words you write when translate.
Third reason: If  you use Google translate usually, that so bad for you when you want understand means the words.
        When you want understand this words means and you think "What does it mean?". Then you use Google translate, but translate not right meaning its, and you will understand wrong the meaning of someone talk with you by Google translate. when you don't understand your friends language.

Coming to America

COMING TO AMERICA

One morning I was at home with my aunt, brother and sister. We were in our store and I heard my aunt  talking with my father. They were talking too quietly to hear what they said. After that conversation my told us we were moving to Philadelphia.

I felt so happy when is coming to America ,but I sad when far my friends and my mother. My mother is not go with we’re ,because my parent divorced. Before come to America, I spend time with my mother and my family. I with my sister go visits my aunt and my mother. Because my mother live with my aunt, I’m with my mother and sister went to waterpark play and we going to eat hot pot. When to ate done ,we go to karaoke. We came back home watch TV. The next day , in afternoon we go to shopping. That is my last trips at Saigon.

I pack shirt, tshirt, jeans, warm clothes, footwear, dress and some foods. Because I think in here not had  foods  same in Vietnam. I listen my aunt in America talk with my father in here not had some things the same in Vietnam. I bring the essential things in coming America, if i need something else me can buy in here. When completed all , we open a small party to bid farewell to friends and relatives. Next day, we going from my house to airport about 1 hour, en route to the airport, I felt nervous. To the airport, I see my father friends, my brother friends, and my sister family. My mother not in the airport, because my mother have problem at leg so not out the airport. I send my mother a picture had my 4 siblings and I’m call talk with my mother but her is crying. We said goodbye many times.

When we go to airport in New York, my uncle pick up we go to uncle house in Philadelphia. And we felt tired when coming to home. First night I'm sleep in my uncle home with my 2 sister. Next day, we're with my anut and uncle go to the market and go for walk. I sawin here very difference than in the movie I'm watch. Climate in here very good not the same in Vietnam. I felt very, very comfortable. Some time later, I'm go to school at Furness High School. At school have students in different country come here to study. I had new teacher and new friends, they help me very more in studying. I very happiness when coming here and studying at Furness High School. And now, I'm is a student at Furness High School.
